Analysis and Structural Improvement to Exhaust Manifold Catalytic Converter of 1.3 L Passenger Car Engine

摘要 通过对1.3 L汽油机原排气装置的干涉问题进行了分析,并建立了一维模型与模拟计算对比,发现原有的4合1的排气歧管结构方式降低发动机进气效率,将原有排气歧管结构方式由4合1改进为4组2合1,通过新旧两种方案的数值模拟计算和台架实验验证的对比,进行了转矩、功率、燃油消耗率的比较。结果表明,配有改进后歧管式催化转化器的发动机功率有了提高,且其燃油消耗率曲线相对较平坦,低油耗范围扩大。 The exhaust interference of 1.3 L gasoline engine exhaust manifold is analyzed and 1-dimensional numerical simulation is used and the performance comparison is simulated, the results indicate that the 4-1connection of the exhaust manifold affects engine volumetric efficiency. Consequently, the connection of exhaust manifold is modified from 4-1 to 4-2-1 and the numerical simulation comparison between present and news status is made by 1-dimensional simulation and put on rig-test. By comparing torque, power and specific fuel consumption. The results indicate that engine power with improved exhaust Manifold Catalytic Converter increases, specific fuel consumption curve becames more fiat and the low fuel consumption range widens.
