摘要
基于内容和网络平台的语言实训模式具有5个特色。①基础语言教学课程的教学内容不再以通用英语为主体,而是由经过统一规划的、专题化、数字化和网络化的特殊用途英语为主体。②专业课程的教学内容也经过统一规划,实现了专题化、数字化和网络化。③上述课程内容经过词频软件检测,严格控制了实训资源中生词的出现量,从而保障了实训资源的可读性和吸引力。④模式通过网络资源不断更新的需求促进了教师职业发展。⑤模式通过研究性学习促进学生在掌握专业知识的同时提高了语言综合应用技能。
It is concluded in this paper that there are five advantages to the integration of language skills through content-and-Internet-based instruction （CIBI）. First, the content of the general education courses like reading and listening for English majors no longer focus on the study of general English such as basic communication skills. Instead the content is targeted at thematic academic English. Second, the content of academic English in the fields of linguistics and literature is arranged such that it is edited and modified timely in light of the students＂ language proficiency as it is posted on the course website and easy to be changed. Third, the content is made readable and attractive as the new words in the materials are controlled by the new-word-control program. Next, the CIBI has helped the teachers to develop their professional and academic skills as they must edit and modify the content of the course, or else the students can do it by themselves. Finally, the CIBI has helped the students to improve their language proficiency while acquiring more academic knowledge.
