John Dewey＇s School was a laboratory where the pragmatist educator John Dewey tried his new educational theo- ries and tested his assumptions in philosophy, psychology and pedagogy. The art education in his school manifested features like an educational goal oriented toward self-expression, comprehensive teaching contents and a teaching style characterized by active work.
