摘要
文章在简要介绍加拿大高贵林孔子学院汉语教学现状的基础上分析了其特点:教学对象以中小学生为主;师资队伍以本土兼职汉语教师为主;依据学生特点编班和设置课程;周末、周内课余或业余时间上课;采用课堂教学为主、课后练习为辅的教学模式。指出了其汉语教学发展中的不足之处:师资队伍结构不够合理,教师专业水平参差;课程设置、课时安排、所用教材以及学生的实际情况有互不相宜之处;缺乏详细的课程规范、教学检测与评估标准;教学硬件设施配备不够理想等等,最后围绕这些问题就该孔子学院的可持续发展提出了一些浅见。
This paper analyzes the current status and characteristics of TCSL in the Confucius Insti- tute of Coquitlam in Canada and reaches the following conclusions, the learners are mainly primary and secondary school students; teachers are mainly local part-time teachers; placements and courses are designed according to students＂ characteristics; classes are given on weekends or in the spare time; TCSL relies mainly on classroom teaching while after-class practice supplements it. It points out some deficiencies arising from its development, the structure of the teaching stuff is not reasonable and the teachers＂ professional level varies; the curriculum, schedule and teaching materials cannot well satisfy the students＂ real needs; lack of detailed specification of courses and criteria of the test and evaluation of TCSL; teaching hardware facilities are not well-equipped, etc. Finally, it puts forward some sug- gestions for solving such problems for realizing its sustainable development.
