摘要
公司高管的在职消费会对公司的经营业绩产生负面效应,那么在职消费对盈余质量会产生何种影响?本文以中国A股市场2006~2009年上市公司为研究样本,研究发现:在职消费对盈余质量产生负面影响,而滞后一年的在职消费则会显著改善公司的盈余质量;在国有企业这种关系更显著,民营企业虽然也存在这种关系但不显著;市场化进程较低地区的公司,当年在职消费对盈余质量的负面影响要大于市场化进程高的地区,滞后一年的在职消费对盈余质量会产生正面影响。
On-the-job consumption has a negative effect on company's performance, then will the on-the-job consumption af- fect the company's earnings quality? Basing on China's A-Share listed companies during 2006 to 2009, under the two kinds of in- stitutional environment characteristics such as enterprise property rights and the level of marketization ,the author makes a study on the impact of on-the-job consumption on the earning quality, the results indicate that there exits the negative impact. Compensation about one year will significantly improve the earnings quality, and this relationship is more significant in the SEO, while it is not in the private enterprises, meanwhile the relationship is found that low marketization process areas is more stronger than high marketi- zation process areas, however the lag one year effect is that low marketization process area is weaker than high marketization pro- cess areas.
