摘要
教师是教育的主导者和践行者，教师职业能力的发展决定教育质量的发展，提高高职英语教师职业能力成为高职教育教学改革和教学质量提高的重要因素之一，探索高职英语教师的职业能力发展既有利于高职英语教师自身职业生涯的发展与提升，也有利于我国高职教育教学质量和人才培养效率的提升。
Teachers are the guides and practisers of the education, teachers＇ professional ability is the key to the development of the teaching quality. It is one of the key factors to improve the teachers＇ professional ability to the reform and the rise of teaching quality in high vocational colleges. It is useful to the promotion and rise of the teachers＇ own professional career to explore the development of the teachers in high vocational colleges, and also useful to the rise of the teaching quality and efficiency to the talent cultivation in high vocational colleges in our country.
