摘要
本文试图解释工资增长趋势下中国上市公司的经营行为,在Cobb-Douglas生产函数的分析框架下,利用2000年至2011年沪深上市公司的数据对相关命题进行了检验,发现在工资增长的趋势下,资本深化总体上呈加剧态势,工资增长越快、劳动分配率越高则资本深化越剧烈,国有企业以资本替代劳动的倾向表现得越来越强烈。就企业的雇佣规模而言,技术进步和工资增长对其有显著的负向影响,营业收入则有显著的正向影响。民企的雇佣规模调整对技术进步越来越敏感,国企的雇佣规模调整对工资增长越来越敏感。本研究的启示包括:首先,未来一段时间的就业压力仍可能较大,但其表现形式由以往的劳动力市场供给带来的压力逐渐转向为劳动力市场需求方的压力。其次,国有企业在资本获取上的优势应该受到限制。再次,在提高劳动分配率的同时要关注资本深化的趋势。
This study aims to explain the employment practices of Chinese listed companies in the trend of wage growth. With the scheme of Cobb-Douglas production function and the data from Guotaian database, several hypotheses are induced and tested. The results show that capital deepening is aggravated in the wage growth trend, and the speed of capital deepening positively correlate to the wage growth rate and labor distribution rate. The state-owned enterprises are more tend to substitute labor with capital. For the employment size, technical progress and wage growth have significant negative effect, while firms' income has significant positive effect. The private enterprises' employment size adjustment are tend to get more sensitive to technical progresses, while the state-owned enterprises' get more sensitive to wage growth. There are several implications of this researeh: first of all, the employment pressure is still high in the immediate future, while the source of pressure gradually turns to the demand side, other than the supply side as before. Secondly, the unfair advantage taken by the state-owned enterprises in the capital raising should be limited. Again, close attention should be paid to the trend of capital deepening as well as the labor distribution rate being improved.
