摘要 人们面对干旱的反应能力是人类学界值得关注的问题。肯尼亚西北部的图尔卡纳牧民对干旱极为熟悉。麦凯布认为,在图尔卡纳人的观念中,干旱是他们参与的生态系统中密不可分的一部分,图尔卡纳人对干旱爆发的反应深嵌于他们的生活和生态系统中,并且涉及一系列他们在经济和社会组织方面深思熟虑和久经考验的对应策略。灾害的地方应对是灾难研究与人类学地方性知识建构的重要环节。
