The problems of over-voltage protection and electromagnetic compatibility within and between overhead lines and underground cables become increasingly prominent. The impedance and admittance parameters of multi conductor systems con- sisting of overhead lines, underground cables and pipelines are of particular importance for the study on overvoltage protection and electromagnetic compatibility within and between systems. Some researches show that the Iossy earth is of primary importance on the accuracy of the computation of impedance and admittance.
