摘要
高纯度的卤化银原料是制备低损耗卤化银多晶光纤最基本的物质基础 .采用高真空熔炼提纯工艺方法对光谱纯级卤化银原料进行提纯 .原料提纯前后的红外吸收光谱测试结果显示 ,高真空熔炼提纯后的卤化银原料红外吸收在 80 0~ 4 0 0 0cm- 1范围内平均降低 50 % .
Preparation of high purity raw material is the foremost section in fabrication of high quality optical fibers. Optical fibers for IR region based on the mixed AgCl x Br (1- x ) solid solution crystals are widely used now in the power optics for wavelength regions of CO 2_and CO_lasers. The starting materials of silver halide were purified by melting at high vacuum (vacuum<10 -3 Pa). The volatile impurities that included H 2O, HCl, HNO 3 etc . in raw materials were removed. Measurement results show that infrared absorbance decreases by about 50% on average at 800—4 000 cm -1 (12.5—2.5 μm) after the purification.
