The paper makes a detailed introduction to the purposes, method and steps of commissioning test on MGC2000 programmable microcomputer governor of Yuliang hydropower station. Good static and dynamic perfor- mances of governor can be realized by reasonable selection and setting of adjusting parameters for governor, so as to ensure safe and reliable operation of hydro-generating units.
