摘要
迄今为止,工业上生产羧酸酯主要采用以浓硫酸作催化剂的均相酯化反应法,然而此法存在腐蚀设备、后处理工序复杂等缺点.ZSM-5沸石具有独特的晶体结构和优良的物化性能,是许多有机催化反应的理想催化剂.文献[1]报道了用HZSM-5沸石作催化剂合成乙酸乙酯,我们在常压液-固相酯化反应中用自制的ZSM-5沸石催化合成了一系列丙酸酯,该催化剂具有良好的催化活性、选择性和稳定性.
n-Butyl propionate and other propionic acid esters were synthesized by using HZSM-5 zeolite as catalyst under atmospheric pressure. The activity and stability of HZSM-5 zeolite catalyst and the effect of reaction conditions on the yield of esters were investigated. Under the following conditions.; molar ratio of propionic acid/n-butanol = 1/1.2, amount of cyclohexanc= 5%, HZSM-5 catalyst/propionic acid=0.7 g/ mol and reaction time of 5 hours, the yield of n-butyl propionate was 85.6%. Over HZSM-5 zeolite catalyst, the estcrification reaction of propionic acid with normal alcohols was easier than that of propionic acid with isomeric alcohols of the same carbon number.
