摘要
办一所什么样的大学?为何要办这样一所的大学?如何办成一所这样的大学?这是每位办学者无法回避但必须认真面对和审慎思考的问题,从中折射出办学者的文化自觉。而这种文化自觉是体现在对大学作为学术组织的深切感悟、对经济社会发展需求的质性把握、对学校办学基础和条件的深思熟虑,最终落脚在对大学办学目标的定位上。笔者以浙江工业大学建设地方高水平大学为蓝本,在对"区域特色、全国一流"内涵解读和需求分析的基础上,提出了建设地方高水平大学的策略选择。
What types of universities should we build？ To answer this question, we really need to have wise thoughts, and the thoughts embody the deep inspiration of universities as an academic organization, the holding of the nature of the demand of economic and social development and the deliberation of the foundation and conditions for running a university. In a word, what is reflected is a cultural consciousness which determines the selection of an objective of running a university. Using the case study of building Zhejiang University of Technology into a comprehensive research-oriented university with distinct regional characteristics as a blueprint and based on the interpretation of the connotation and the logical analysis of ＂Regional Characteristics and Firstrate in the Country＂, this paper proposed a strategy selection for building a regional research-oriented university.
