该文详细论述了西藏侏罗纪双壳类化石组合特征、地理分布和共生生物的关系,并划分为喜马拉雅和冈底斯-念青唐古拉-三江两生物地理区。
In Jurassic, Xizang was part of the East Tetheys Ocean, marine bivalves are very flourish-ing. On the basis of abundant fossil materials in the field, the characteristics of Jurassic bivalve fossilassemblages in Xizang, their geographic distribution and their relations to associated fossils are detailedin this paper. As the Yaluzangbu Trough came into existance it separated different development of bi-valves on the two sides of the trough. Two provinces are recognised: the Himalayan province, theGangdisi-Nianqing--Tanggula-Threejiang province. The relationship between plate-tectonic movementand flourishing of bivalves are also analysed.
