摘要
地理信息系统(简称GIS)是一门应用领域广泛、综合性很强的技术。若将它用于实际工作,就成为辅助管理、辅助决策的工具。本文主要从城市规划的角度阐述GIS的技术特征,它与相关技术的联系和区别,以及它和应用对象的关系。
The Geographic Information System (GIS) in its domain is a well attested technique of high integration. In application to actual situations it can be an aid to management, decision - making. This article describes the characeristics of GIS technique from the point of view of urban planner and its relations with other technique as well as with the applied objective.
