摘要
针对大学英语词汇教学中存在缺乏词汇学习策略的问题,将隐喻认知理论应用到大学英语词汇教学中,提出了掌握基本范畴词汇、结合词义的隐喻性延伸来理解和记忆多义词、利用隐喻记忆新词、重视文化导入等四个方面的大学英语词汇教学策略。
There is sometimes lack of the vocabulary learning strategies in the college English vocabulary teaching.Aiming at this problem,the paper applies Cognitive Metaphor Theory to the college English vocabulary teaching and puts forward the vocabulary teaching strategies,that is,focusing on the basic vocabulary,understanding multiple-meaning words through metaphorical extensions of word meaning,using metaphor to master new words and paying attention to the cultural introduction.
