中国古代典籍的完美输出,需要一个恰如其分的书名翻译画龙点睛。以"四书"、"五经"为代表的中国古代典籍书名翻译,需要译者对英汉两种语言都有良好的审美修养和细腻的审美感受。译名不仅要满足对外宣传的需要,更要帮助外国友人理解中国典籍的内涵深意及蕴含的灿烂文化。
An appropriate title translation is crucial for Chinese ancient books to be perfectly exported and world- widely disseminated. Chinese ancient books, such as The Four Books and The Five Classics, require their translators to have the delicate aesthetic accomplishment and feeling of both English and Chinese. Title translation should not only meet the need for publicity, but also help foreign friends understand the connotation and brilliant cultures of Chinese ancient books.
