Considering the actual situation of power system in China. the necessity of Installing non--three-phase protection ofhigh-voltage breaker is explained. Several schemes of non--three--phase protection now available are analyzed, and the onewith current blocking is preferred. Some problems existing in the one-and--a-half breaker scheme of the non-three-phaseprotection are discussed.
