摘要
首次报道使用理论计算和Maker条纹方法确定了YCOB晶体的 6个倍频系数 ,并给出了晶体有效倍频系数 (deff)和相匹配角 ( θ,)之间的相互关系 .计算出的曲线显示 ,YCOB晶体的最佳有效倍频系数的位置不是在 x-z的主平面或接近于x-z主平面的位置上 ,而是在 (θ =6 5 9° ,=36 5°)和 (θ =6 6 3° ,=143 9°)两个位置上 .YCOB晶体的倍频转换效率测量及Nd∶YCOB晶体的自倍频转换效率测量均证实上述结果是正确的 .文章的结果对于推动YCOB晶体倍频器件和Nd∶YCOB晶体的自倍频器件的发展将起到重要的作用 .
The second harmonic generation coefficients( d ij )of YCOB have been determined for the first time and the relationship between the effective SHG coefficients ( d eff ) and phase\|matching angles has been derived.It is found surprisingly,that the direction of the largest d eff of the crystal is not in the principal plane as usual but along ( θ=65 9°,=36 5°) and ( θ=66\^3°,=143\^9°) and further,its value is direction dependent in the different phase regions.This has been verified by measurements of the frequency doubling and self-frequency doubling conversion efficiencies.The demonstration of this optimum phase-matching direction of YCOB/Nd∶YCOB is an important step forward in the development of compact high-efficiency green and blue laser sources.
