Czochralski Growth of Large Aperture YCOB Crystal

摘要 采用提拉法成功生长了大尺寸高质量的Ca4YO(BO3)3(YCOB)晶体,尺寸达到φ110×90 mm3,为目前文献所报道的最大尺寸。有效的解决了YCOB晶体生长过程中经常出现的开裂、螺旋生长等现象。在所生长的YCOB晶体基础上,加工了尺寸为80 mm×80 mm×15 mm的晶片用于进一步的实验。 A large aperture and high quality Ca4YO(BO3)3 (YCOB) crystal was successfully grown using the Czochralski method. The dimension of the as-grown YCOB crystal was up to φ 110 × 90 mm3, which was the largest size to our knowledge. No cracks are ap- parent in the as-grown crystal. The crack and spiral growth can be effectively controlled in the as-grown crystalo The crystal plate with dimension of 80 mm × 80 mm × 15 mm was harvested from the as-grown crystal for further experiment.
