Leukemia inhibitory factor (LIF) is a glycoprotein with multiple activities and is esseatial for blastocyst implantation in mouse.The authors have examined LIF gene expression in mouse endometrium on day 4～5 of pregnancy(group Ⅰ),nopregnancy(group Ⅱ),and in mouse embryo on day 4～5 of pregnancy(group Ⅲ).In group Ⅰ all had LIF gene expression.3 mice had LIF gene expreession in group Ⅱ,only 2 mice had LIF gene expression in group Ⅲ.The authors discussed the level of LIF gene expression in different tissues and the relation between LIF gene expression with embryonic implantation.
