摘要
现代作家日记,数量大,内容丰富,是一个尚待开发的现代学术领域。日记是作家情感世界真实的投影。"五四"前夕,胡适在日记里发出了"造新文学,此业吾曹欲让谁"的呐喊,鲁迅日记记录了划时代的短篇小说《狂人日记》的诞生历程。身在海外的吴宓,对五四文学革命的到来却毫不理解,不知所措。当时的吴宓日记就表现了他那忧心如焚、痛不欲生的郁闷心境。1940年代后期发生的闻一多遇刺事件,在叶圣陶、朱自清等一批作家思想上引起了强烈的震撼,日记集中地展示了他们精神上的焦虑、愤懑。焦虑和愤懑化为行动,促使一批作家集体乘船北上投奔解放区,完成了历史性的转向。20世纪后期,杨沫、巴金、俞平伯、陈白尘等几代作家的日记,更从不同侧面,逼真地呈现了作家在无法抗拒的暴力面前的愤慨与无奈,具有历史深度地揭露了"文化大革命"的荒唐与罪恶。百年作家日记也是一座无所不包的现代文学史料库,举凡作家早年出国考察的发现与惊喜,现代文学学科建设具体史料的搜集与整理,乃至在公开发表的文字中较少见到的作家出言无忌的创作评论,在日记里都表现出了特有的个性与精彩。现代作家日记研究面临两个紧迫任务:一是开展对日记的抢救与整理;二是在整理过程中加强对日记的辨伪与阐释。文学史研究与日记研究的融汇,将可能接近研究对象的本真,带来已有研究结论的丰富与改写。
The diaries of modern writers abound both in quantity and in content,which remain a modern academic field to be further developed.Diary is the mirror of the writer's emotional world.In their diaries,Hu Shi issued the shout of shouldering the responsibility for creating a new literature,Lu Xun noted down the birth of A Madman's Diary,and Wu Mi expressed his bewilderment to the literature revolution.In the late 1940s,the assassination of Wen Yiduo came as a violent shock on Ye Shengtao,Zhu Ziqing and other writers,and their diaries betrayed their anxiety and anger intensively.In the late 20th century,the diaries of Yang Mo,Ba Jin,Yu Pingbo,Chen Baichen and other writers presented their indignation and helplessness before the irresistible violence from different aspects,and deeply revealed the absurdity and sin of the Cultural Revolution.The diaries of modern writers also constitute an important part of the coverall library of modern literary history,including the writers' discovery and surprise on the overseas trips in their early years,material collection in the discipline construction of modern literature,and blunt remarks unusual in public writings.The studies of modern writers' diaries are faced with two urgent tasks:one is to rescue and reorganize the diaries,and the other is to strengthen discrimination and interpretation in the process of sorting out.Integrating the studies of literary history and of diaries will probably allow us to approach the truth of the objects,and thus enriching and rewriting the existing conclusions.
