Based on the theories of probability and mathmatical statistics, the quantificational research to the anti-wear life and reliability of cylinder wall of the engine has been carried out. With the wear off quantity and the distributional function of anti-wear life, the function equation of reliability can be determined and the reliability and anti-wear life within a certain time or allowable wear off quantity could be Predicted.
