御岳是普遍存在于日本冲绳各村落中的圣地 ,它是神灵的居所、祭祀的中心。御岳是村落的守护神 ,神事活动丰富多样 ,祭祀组织严密复杂 ,这些反映了冲绳民俗信仰的一个侧面。
Utaki’is sacred area which is located in each village of Okinawa in Japan; it is the place of the gods'spirits and the center of ritual activities. ‘Utaki’plays an important role in protecting its village, and its ritual activities are many and various.
