Research on Laser/arc Hybrid Welding with Narrow Gap

摘要 相对于当前的厚板焊接方法,激光-电弧复合焊接有很多优点。为了使激光-电弧复合焊接技术应用于厚板焊接,本文采用4 KW光纤激光器针对16 mm厚低碳钢板进行激光-电弧复合焊接打底焊接工艺研究,探究了坡口尺寸、电流值、速度等规范参数对激光-电弧打底焊接稳定性的影响,通过金相观查焊缝横截面形貌。结果表明:坡口尺寸、电流以及焊接速度是影响激光-电弧复合焊接过程稳定性的主要工艺规范。通过电弧电流等工艺规范的匹配,激光-电弧复合焊实现5 mm钝边,12°类Y型坡口的熔透打底焊接。 Compared to arc welding, laser/arc hybrid welding has many advantages. In order to introduce laser/arc hybrid welding to thick plate application, the low carbon steel of 16mm thickness was laser-arc hybrid bottom welded using 4 kW fiber laser. The influence of the parameters, such as groove size, current value, the distance of laser and arc, defocus length, on the narrow gap welding process stability is studied. The joint cross section was analyzed metallographic observation. The results show that the groove size, current value and welding speed have great effect on the welding stability, no significant effect from the defocus length, distance between laser and arc. 5 mm truncated edge, 12 °class Y-shaped groove was full penetration welded by laser/arc hybrid welding with optimized welding parameters.
