摘要
《中国季刊》(The China Quarterly)是西方最早专门研究当代中国的学术刊物,长期以来在国外当代中国研究领域具有权威地位和重要影响。本文采用文献计量学方法,在对国外当代中国研究领域中的主要学术期刊进行简要比较的基础上,对《中国季刊》1960-1969年间357位作者的国别、部门、职业、身份、职称、研究领域和专长进行分类统计,对其发表的449篇论文、367篇书评进行归纳分析,初步总结了60年代《中国季刊》的作者概况、研究重点、研究特色与缺憾不足,为深入了解西方当代中国研究提供了一个学术个案。
The China Quarterly is the first academic journal specialized in contemporary Chinese studies in the West and has authoritative status and important influence in the field of contemporary Chinese studies in western countries for a long time.In this paper,by using the method of Bibliometrics,on the basis of a brief comparison of the major academic journals in the field of contemporary Chinese studies,the country,departments,occupation,identity,titles,fields of study and expertise of 357 authors of The China Quarterly during 1960-1969 were classified for statistics;449 papers,and 367 book reviews published by The China Quarterly were summarized and analyzed;a preliminary summary of the author profiles,research focus,research features and shortcomings of The China Quarterly in 1960s were obtained,and thus an academic case for deeper understanding of Western Contemporary Chinese studies was available.
