提出一种基于 Web的三级网络管理 (Browser-Web/ Manager- Agent)模型 ,通过标准的 CGI接口和 Java技术 ,可将用户的 HTTP格式的请求转换成 SNMP协议的格式 ,也可将 SNMP协议数据单元转换成 HTTP格式显示到用户的浏览器界面上。论述了一个基于该模型的网络管理系统 Super Domain98的组成结构 ,着重讨论了 Super Dom ain98实现的关键技术 :网管数据管理策略、事件驱动的工作流程、扩展的 TRAP定义和基于
A three tier network management model, the Browser Web/Manager Agent, proposed to Web applications aims to realize distributed network management by adopting Web and Java technologies, which are widely used across the Internet. The standard CGI specification and Java programming language were used to translate a user request in HTTP format to the SNMP protocol data format, and vice versa. The architecture of SuperDomain98, an implemented network management system, based on this model was described. Some key implementation features, such as the management and storage strategy, event driven work flow, the definition of extended TRAP types and web based realtime alarming were discussed.
