摘要
自我评价作为一种形成性测试手段,可以不断地监测和评价学习者的语言学习发展过程,但使用自我评价首先要关注其效度问题。本文运用调查问卷的形式考查了高校英语专业学生对自身听说水平的自我评价,并用高校英语专业四级考试(TEM4)作为效标检验了他们自我评价的效标关联效度。结果表明,自我评价是一种可靠且有效的评价学生语言能力的工具。
As a formative measurement, self-assessment can continuously observe and evaluate language learners' learning experience. But its validation is of primary priority before self-assessment is applied. A questionnaire concerning the English majors' self-assessment of their speaking and listening skills is employed in the paper, and their TEM4 scores are used as criteria to test the criterion-related validity of their self assessment. The result of validation in this questionnaire tells us that the English majors' self assessment is a reliable and valid measure of their speaking and listening skills.
