摘要
文章运用截面数据和面板数据分别比较了14家中外种业上市公司的规模、成长性、盈利性及相对效率,发现国内种业上市公司与国际种业巨头相比,在规模方面差距较大;在成长性和盈利性方面也有显著差异,但存在个别国内种业公司经营较好的状况;在相对效率比较上,我国运营较好的上市公司不处于劣势,有的甚至好于国际种业上市公司,在规模效率方面国际种业公司基本处于规模效率递减,而国内公司处于规模效率递增阶段。因此,整合国内种业优势资源、扩大规模投入,同时保持目前的经营效率是当前国内种业上市公司与国际种业竞争的有效对策之一。
The article compares scale, growth, profitability, relative efficiency of 14 Chinese and foreign seed listed companies by using cross-sectional and panel data. We find big gap in scale, significant differences in growth and profitability, in addition to individual domestic seed companies. Some Chinese seed companies have advantage on the relative efficiency, and in the escalation phase of scale efficiency, but diminishing returns to scale with foreign seed listed companies. So the integration of advantageous re- sources of the domestic seed industry, the expanding of investment scale, and the maintaining of operat- ing efficiency is one of the effective countermeasures for the domestic seed listed companies with interna- tional competitors.
