摘要
早兰西瓜是以W-04-8为母本、W-04-6为父本配制而成的极早熟小型西瓜一代杂种。植株生长健壮,第一雌花节位6～8节,果实圆形,黄瓤,绿色果皮上覆墨绿色锯齿状条纹,皮厚0.5 cm,有韧性,不易裂瓜,耐贮运;瓤质细脆,中心糖含量12%～14%,边糖含量10%,风味好,口感佳;全生育期80～90 d,果实发育期28 d左右;单瓜质量1.5～2.5 kg,平均产量可达3 900 kg/667 m2,适宜春秋季保护地栽培。
Zaolan is a new early-maturing mini watermelon cultivar. Its male parent is W-04-6, and the maternal parent is W-04-8. The plant has strong growth vigor. Its first female flower sets on 6th-Sth node. The fruits are spherical with yellow flesh, and there are dark-green stripes marked on green surface. Though it peel is thin, it is immune to crack and tolerant to storage and shipment. The flesh is crisp and tastes excellent. And the sugar content of central flesh is 12%-14%, while the sugar content from central flesh to edge is 10%. Its whole growth period is 80-90 days, and its fruit development period is about 28 days. Its single fruit weight is 1.5-2.5 kg, and the average yield is reach to 3900 kg/667 m： It is suitable to be cultivated in protected fields in spring and autumn.
