摘要
第三代移动通信(3G)为日本经济社会作出了重大贡献。但是,随着科学技术的迅速发展,现有传统的移动通信系统已不能满足人类日益增长的需求。在这样的背景下,第四代移动通信(4G)应运而生。目前,日本的第四代移动通信(4G)技术已经发展得比较完善,基础设施已经投入建设,政府已向四大运营商发放了LTE牌照,各种业务已在向全国推广。第四代移动通信的普及与应用,是日本移动通信技术的又一次革命,它必将对日本经济社会产生重大影响。
The third generation （3 G） of mobile communication has considerably contributed to Japanese social economy. This traditional mobile communication system, however, has been insufficient to meet the growing needs of human beings with the rapid advancement of science and technology.
