Optimization for tray's number of propylene rectification tower was comprehensively analyzed from reflux ratio,energy consumption,hydrodynamics and investment.It was pointed out that the optimization for trays' number has evident techno economic effect.To adapt present techno economic conditions,the theoretical trays' number of 215 were recommended for the propylene rectification tower of the 600000 tpy gas fractionation unit.
