For the issue of easy damage of start-up burner in Shell coal gasification plant the role,structure and causes for damage of start-up burner are introduced and a detailed description of a successful application of home-made integrated start-up burner is given including the features and superiority of the burner as well as the modification in installation,debugging sequence control programs and parameter setting.
