摘要
以聚乙烯醇(PVA)和乙二醛为主要原料,在混合酸的氧化还原体系催化作用下,合成了一种G-PVA(聚乙烯醇缩乙二醛)保护胶体,并讨论了反应体系温度、pH和缩醛度等对G-PVA性能的影响。结果表明:当反应体系的pH为1.8~2.3、反应温度为80~85℃和缩醛度为15%~20%时,G-PVA保护胶体的耐水性和储存稳定性俱佳;将G-PVA/PVA、PVA分别作为保护胶体制备PVAc(聚醋酸乙烯)乳液,则前者制得的PVAc乳液具有更好的冻融稳定性(冻融循环6次后乳液仍无凝胶现象)。
With polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and glyoxal as main raw materials, a G-PVA (polyvinyl glyoxal) protective colloid was synthesized by catalysis of mixed acid REDOX system, and the influences of some factors (such as reaction system temperature,pH and acetal degree) on G-PVA's properties were discussed. The results showed that the G-PVA protective colloid had both good water resistance and good storage stability when pH in reaction system was 1.8-2.3, reaction temperature was 80-85 ℃ and acetal degree was 15%-20%. The PVAe (polyvinyl acetate) emulsions were prepared with G-PVA/PVA or PVA as protective colloids, the PVAc emulsion prepared by the former had better freeze-thaw stability because an emulsion without gel exist still after 6 times freeze-thaw cycles.
