摘要
正确解读作品中的文化意象对于文学翻译至关重要,这涉及到对文学作品的准确翻译与有效传播。藏族英雄史诗《格萨尔》具有丰厚的民族文化底蕴与深奥的宗教思想,英译过程中文化意象的解读存在较大困难,因此《格萨尔》的英文翻译长期以来难有大的发展。在《格萨尔》史诗的英译实践中,要准确运用归化与异化翻译策略,而正确解读史诗中的宗教文化意象是《格萨尔》史诗英译的关键。
Correctly explicating the cuhural images is very important to literature translation because it closely relates to the accurate translation and its effective circulation. Tibetan Epic Gesar is full of cultural connotations and profound religious thoughts, which make it difficult to explain its cultural images in the process of English translation. Therefore the English English version, the writers skills named ＂domestication ges in religion is the key to translation of Gesar is limited in scale and depth. Based on the study of the paper believe that in the English translating practice of Gesar, of the existing the translation and ＂foreignization＂ should be combined, while exactly explicating its cultural ima- English translation of Gesar.
