摘要
该文设计了一种新型结构的高双折射光子晶体光纤。通过在纤芯内部引入8边形空气孔,应用全矢量有限元法,针对各种结构参量对模式双折射特性的影响进行了详细的分析和讨论。结果表明,该结构光子晶体光纤可以产生10-2量级的模式双折射,比传统保偏光纤高约2个数量级。
This paper designed a high birefringence photonic crystal fiber with new structure. With the intro- duction of core internal octagonal air holes and the application of the full vector finite element method, a de- tailed analysis and discussion of the various structural parameters on the impact of the mode birefringence is carried out, which shows the new structure could produce 10-2 magnitude mode birefringence, about two or- ders higher than conventional polarization maintaining fiber.
