摘要
学术界普遍认为文字是原始记事的发展。然而,诞生过程明朗的文字显然是语言的延伸;自源文字的诞生过程虽不明朗,但由语言延伸而来的痕迹十分明显。因此,文字是语言的延伸而非原始记事的发展,文字与原始记事之间根本没有一脉相承关系。寻求这种子虚乌有的关系,是文字起源研究的误区。
In the academic world there has been a long-standing misconception： the characters are the development of primitive record of events. But in fact, characters with a clear birth process of evolution are obviously the expansion of language,while the self-originated characters, although how they came into being still remains unclear, bear apparent traces of language expansion. Therefore, characters having no inheriting relation with primitive records are the expansion of langrage not the development of primi-tive records. It is a misconception to look for such an imaginary relation.
