摘要
本文评述了各种冷芯盒工艺的研究及应用现状,包括钠水玻璃/CO_2法、酚尿烷/胺法、呋喃树脂/SO_2法、环氧树脂/SO_2法、酚醛树脂/SO_2法、自由基法、酚醛树脂/酯法及有机粘结剂/CO_2法,指出了各种冷芯盒工艺的优点及存在的问题。并比较了粘结剂及硬化剂的性能。
The authors review some of the methods currently available in which a gas or a vapour is employed to harden or cure the sand-binder mixture used in the production of a mould or core. It is shown that such 'cold-box' techniques can embrace a variety of systems in cluding the silicate/ CO_2 process; the amine phenolic urthane process; the furan/ SO_2 process; the epoxy/ SO_2 process; the phenolic/ SO_2 process; the phenolic/ ester process; free-radical curing and CO_2 resin bindcr proccss. Advantages and ncgative aspects of each of the systems are described, A comparison of some of the proecsscs which fall within the category of 'cold-box' is also provided.
