摘要 低温医疗即利用低温治疗疾病。早在公元前2500年之前,埃及人就利用低温治疗头部的复杂骨折和胸部的炎性反应,也有记载曾利用冰治疗出血和浮肿。19世纪中期,英国医生Arnott首次利用温度为-24~-18℃的含有碎冰的盐水溶液治疗乳腺癌和宫颈癌,这是组织冷冻技术在治疗疾病方面的最早尝试。
