摘要
论述了Na2KSb(Cs)多碱光电阴极光电发射过程的表征和测量,提出了利用荧光谱来表征光电阴极电子跃迁几率的方法。在同样工艺条件下测量了像增强器多碱光电阴极的光谱响应和荧光谱,比较了多碱光电阴极灵敏度与逸出功、荧光谱强度、荧光谱峰值波长、半峰宽之间的关系,分析了逸出功、荧光峰值波长、峰值强度、半峰宽对多碱阴极灵敏度的影响,得出了影响多碱阴极灵敏度高低的主要原因是Na2KSb膜层的晶格完整性的结论,提出了进一步改进多碱阴极制作工艺的技术途径。
We addressed the characterization of the photoelectron emission of the Na2KSb(Cs) multi-alkali photo- cathode, produced on industrial scale. The luminescence spectrum was proposed to evaluate the electron transition proba- bility of the photocathode. The impacts of the various factors, such as the fluorescence spectral intensity, work function, full width half maximum of the fluorescence spectrum, wavelength and intensity of the fluorescence peak, and different types of image intensifiers fabricated under the same conditions, on the sensitivity of the photocathode were evalt/ated. The results show that the FDHM of the fluorescence significantly affects the sensitivity of the photocathode, possibly because of the fa- vorable microstructures, grain size, uniformity, and crystallization, of the Na2KSb(Cs) films.
