摘要
选取中医五行学说中几个最基本词条,对国内外5部中医术语英译标准化方案中分别给出的英译文,参考其他有关中英文献、资料和词典,并依据中医英译的原则和方法,进行对比分析和研究,以期对促进中医名词术语英译标准的统一助力。
Based on principles and methods for English translation of Traditional Chinese Medicine （TCM）, we comparatively studied several most essential terms of Wu Xing （the five agents） theory, and suggested their English translations by consulting some literature and dictionaries in both Chinese and English. Our purpose is to promote the unification of English translation standard of TCM terms.
