１９世纪末至２０世纪初，中国兴起了以日本为模式的教育改革运动。在这场运动中，吴汝给是一位不可忽视的人物，特别是他的日本教育视察对清末教育改革产生了重大影响。
At the end of 19th century and the beginning of 20th century, there rose a movement of educational reform after Japanese educational pattern. In this movement, Wu Rulun was a'key person, whose inspection of Japan's education exercised a great influence on the education reform in the late Qing Dynasty.
