摘要
记述我国汤姬蜂属Townesia Ozols1新种,陈氏汤姬蜂Townesia cheni sp.nov.,提供了新种的成虫形态描述、特征图和分布记录,并编制了汤姬蜂属已知种检索表。模式标本保存在浙江大学昆虫科学研究所寄生蜂标本室(ZJU)。
Townesia cheni sp.nov.from Mt.West T ianmu of Zhejiang Province in China is described and illustrated.A key to the known species of Townesia is given.M orphological descriptions,host and distribution are also provided.T ype specimen is deposited in the Collection of Parasitic Hymenoptera of Zhejiang University（ZJU）.Townesia cheni sp.nov.（Figs 1-8） T his species is similar to Townesia tenuiventris,but differs from the latter in following characters：1） ventral valve of ovipositor with 7 weak ridges,not produced into backwardly directed teeth（the latter species with strong oblique ridges produced into backwardly directed teeth） ;2） second and third epipleuruon 9.1 times as long as wide（the latter 4.0 5.0 times） ;3） second to fifth tergites without lateral swellings（the latter species with large and distinct swellings）.It is also distinguished from T.exilis Gupta ＆ T ikar,1976 by having propodeum withoutlongitudinal groove（the latter species with a deep longitudinal groove in the centre in basal 0.75） ;first tergite shorter than the second（the latter species with first tergite as long as the second）.T he species can be separated from T.qinghaiensis He,1996 by second to fifth tergites without lateral swellings（the latter species with distinct swellings） ;fore wing with cu-a vein basad of 1M vein（the latter species opposite） ;ridges of ventral valve of ovipositor not produced into backwardly directed teeth（the latter species produced into backwardly directed teeth）.Holotype.Female,China,Zhejiang Province,M t.W est T ianmu,Laodian-Xianrending,alt.1150-1506 m,17-18 M ay 1988,CHEN Xue-Xin,No.882277.Etymology.T he species is named after the collector Prof.CHEN Xue-Xin,Institute of Insect Sciences,Zhejiang University.
