摘要
法律语言是一种具有高度权威性和精确性的专门用途语言,有其独特的风格。长期以来,翻译界几乎都提倡用直译的策略去翻译法律文本,以忠实于原文。然而,由于不同的语言和文化存在差异,一味地直译有时不仅不能使译文忠实于原文,还会使译文艰涩难懂,甚至出现谬误,因此,法律翻译中同样需要译者的创造性叛逆。《中华人民共和国合同法》的英译本证明了法律翻译创造性叛逆的客观存在及其表现形式。
Legal language characteristics. Over strategy in translating is a highly authoritative and accurate language used for special purposes.
