Process Mineralogical Features of some Iron Ore from Xinjiang and their Influence on Mineral Processing

摘要 对新疆某铁矿石进行了工艺矿物学研究,查明了该类矿石难选的原因。针对该铁矿矿物嵌布粒度粗细不均,含铁较高的性质,分析其在选矿工艺流程中的行为,并提出了提高选矿指标的途径。研究表明,采用合理的选矿工艺流程,获得了铁品位65.94%,含磷0.12%的合格铁精矿,且回收率达到77.28%。 Study on process mineralogy of an iron ore from Xinjiang was carried out and the reasons why it is hard to be recovered were ascertained. Combined with the properties such as uneven dissemination size and high iron content, the behavior of the ore in the dressing processes was investigated, and an approach to enhance the beneficiation index was proposed. It is concluded that a qualified iron concentrate with an iron grade of 65.94% and an iron recovery of 77.28% can be obtained, while the phosphorus content can be reduced to 0.12% with the proper dressing process.
