摘要
黄宗忠先生是当代著名图书馆学家、教育学家。近10余年来,他积极开展图书馆学基础理论和体系结构的创新,高度重视当代图书馆现实问题的研究,特别强调图书馆学研究的本土化和专业化,密切关注学习借鉴国外图书馆学理论观念、技术方法和先进经验为我所用,在图书馆学理论、图书馆事业建设等领域提出了一系列独特见解,在我国图书馆界产生了广泛而深远的影响,也为发展和丰富我国图书馆学理论研究做出了重要贡献。
Huang Zongzhong was a famous library scientist and educationist. In the last ten years, he had been active in innovating the basic theory and architecture of library science. He attached great importance to study the practical problems in contemporary libraries, with particular emphasis on the localization and specialization of library science. He paid close attention to learning from for- eign library science theories, concepts, technical approaches and advanced experience. He had given a series of unique insights into the field of library science theory and library construction, making extensive and far-reaching impact in the library circle with his important contributions to theoretical research for the development and enrichment of library science in China.
