Silane-Crosslinked Polyethylenes Containing Mg(OH)_2 Flame Retardant

摘要 在硅烷交联聚乙烯体系中 ,添加氢氧化镁阻燃剂制备无卤阻燃的硅烷交联聚乙烯。详细讨论了硅烷和氢氧化镁用量对材料力学性能及阻燃性能的影响。采用了拉伸性能试验、氧指数试验和锥形量热计试验对交联物的性能进行了表征。 Mg(OH) 2, as a no halogen flame retardant, has been added into silane crosslinked polyethylene ( SPE ). Attempts have been made to investigate the effect of silane, Mg(OH) 2 and crosslinking conditions on the mechanical properties and oxygen index. Cone calorimeter, based on the oxygen consumption principle was also used to test flame retardant SPE. Its results show that the maximum rate of heat release and the maximum specific extinction area decrease with the increase of Mg(OH) 2 addition.
