摘要
网络环境下流通数据的可获得性明显提高,为利用流通数据开展信息资源建设研究提供了便利。本文提出从用户请求量和用户请求特征两个角度对流通数据展开分析。其中,用户请求量分析主要了解用户需求在不同学科间的分布,为学科之间的资源配置提供参考依据;用户请求特征分析了解用户需求模式,为不同学科资源遴选标准的建立提供借鉴。实证研究结果表明本文提出的方法能为优化图书馆信息资源建设提供有力支撑。
Library automation has improved access to circulation data under the network environment,which facilitates circulation analysis for collection development.In view of the current research limitations,the paper presents a model based on usage quantity and usage pattern.The analysis of the usage quantity is to understand the disparity of the users＇ needs among subjects and to provide references for resource allocation within different areas,while the analysis of the usage pattern is to reveal the needs patterns and then to give accordance to the establishment of selection standard.The empirical results show that the model can provide strong support for decisions about collection development in libraries.
