The scarring during alumina production process is a main factor of puzzling and restricting the alumina industry＇ s development, which directly affects technical and economic target of alumina production. The genera, tion, hazard and control for the scarring in alumina production were discussed, and some methods and measures for prevention and treatment were proposed.
