The subprime mortgage crisis that began in the United States in 2008 gradually evolved into a global economic crisis. The crisis not only hit the world economy severely, but also detonated the cumulative long-standing debt problems of the European countries. European debt crisis will not only affect the future development process of the euro area, but also bring more uncertainty to the global economy. This paper reflects on the sub-prime crisis, explores the causes and processes of the European debt crisis, and puts forward some suggestions to improve China's financial regulation.
